Arts Therapies Report: Hitting the HEAT Targets 2010

This report has been produced as a result of the Evaluation for Art Therapies Conference on 14th March 2009, detailed below. The potential contribution of Arts Therapies to Health Improvement, Efficiency Access and Treatment was highlighted through this Conference and this Report specifically explores the potential role for Arts Therapies in supporting mental health and highlights their input to the psychological and social wellbeing of a wide range of client groups. The report was compiled by Dr Vicky Karkou, Senior Lecturer at Queen Margaret University for the Scottish Arts Therapies Forum.

Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh is the first University in the UK to offer a Masters in Science (MSc) in Dance Movement Psychotherapy in the UK.
